Sip an XO Méry neat, at room temperature, or warmed slightly by cupping the glass in the palm of your hand.
For those with a passion for classic cocktails, take a VS or VSOP Méry and mix over ice in a tall, slender glass or mix with all manner of juices and sodas:

tonic water
ginger ale
club soda
cranberry juice...

The fact is, cognac has so much character and flavor that it holds its own no matter what you add to it.

Why not try?
2 ounces VSOP Méry
4 ounces ginger ale
2-4 dashes Angostura bitters
1 orange-peel spiral, for garnish

Pour all of the ingredients into an ice-filled tall glass. Stir briefly, and add the garnish.
